Personal Statement

Hi, my name is Amber Wright and I was born and raised in Aspen, Colorado. This summer, I moved to Marquette, Michigan to complete my senior year of high school as well as to play on the U19AA Marquette Sentinels.  They placed 2nd in the U16AA Nationals last season & we are looking forward to another successful year competing at the U19AA level.  Along with juggling school, I play hockey with the Marquette Sentinels.  I am a dedicated, ambitious, and flexible student athlete that knows I can excel on any team while pursuing my academic goals because I have experience balancing hockey, school, NHS, community service, and a social life.  My goal is to continue playing hockey at the collegiate level while studying to be a physical therapist.
