My name is Maiya King. I am a senior at Marquette Senior High School, a class A school in Marquette, Michigan, a University town with a population of 25,000 people.
During my high school career, I have been involved in music, a member of The National Honor Society, and have played volleyball, basketball, and softball for my high school. I have found my true passion is volleyball, and I have realized that I would like to pursue it at the next level. As co-captain of my team, my leadership skills and positive attitude have helped our team gel and has allowed us to reach our full potential. I am a good student, a dynamic team player, and I honestly believe I can take these skills to the next level and be an asset to any team.
