Personal Statement
It has has always been a dream of mine to play women's collegiate ice hockey and to earn a degree in Athletic Training, and that is exactly what I plan on achieving. I have big dreams, that are not impossible, but they require dedication, hard work, and heart which are all things I have and plan on using to be as successful as possible. No matter what the circumstances I will always put forth 110%, both on and off the ice. I will not settle for less than my best and I will push myself and my teammates until the last few seconds run out and the final buzzer blows. I consider myself a leader, I may not lead the team in points but in spirit, encouragement, hard work, and dedication. I will always work hard and push myself and my teammates beyond their limits to reach our highest level of potential.
My performance on the ice is just as critical as my performance in the classroom. Academics have always been important to me, and they always will be. I work hard to maintain good grades not just because I should, but because I enjoy knowing that my hard work pays off and that I earned those grades. No matter what I will never quit despite any obstacle thrown at me and one thing you can count on me for is a hard working athlete who never gives up and is relentless in all aspects of life.
