For me hockey has always played a huge role in my life, it's an opportunity to do something that you work hard for, learn from, and love through success and even through failure. In life and in hockey I've learned that you are your biggest opponent. Every time I step on the ice it's me vs me, improving through every move, drill, practice, and game, always giving 110% . As my coach told me you only get to do it once so make the most of it, because in the end you only get out what you put in. My effort shows through not only my sports but also in the classroom as well, by maintaining the high honor roll all while being a multi-sport athlete. I push myself, challenge myself, and always try to find a way to learn something new. My drive, determination, and discipline, has brought me to where I am now, and I won't stop even after I pursue my dream of playing college hockey.
