Personal Statement

My name is Arabella Crivello. I began playing goalie late in my 8th grade season when our goalie decided to step down, filling the new gap.  Since then, I have learned to love this game and this position.  I’ve been coached by amazing people who inspire me and push me to be the best I can be.  With limited experience, I started Freshman year as the back up JV goalie. Sophomore year, our head coach, took a chance and brought me in as the Varsity starter. With coach Nathan and my team’s support, I went on to lead my team in winning the Sacramento Valley Lacrosse Championship!  Since then, I’ve grown in both my ability to perform and my ability to retain instruction. Being a coachable player is one of my strong suits, as I strive to get better and will always give 110%. I take pride in my ability to build up my teammates. I love my teammates and coaches and feel blessed when I am able to encourage my teammates to do better, as they have with me. In he 2022 season, I had 86 Saves, 13 Ground Balls, 10 Caused Turnovers, 112 Clears, and a total of a 69% Save Percentage!

I have a positive, can-do attitude that helps push me to achieve, giving my all on and off the field. I currently hold a 4.07 GPA. I am a 4 year leadership student, involved in campus leadership. I am also a member of the National Honors Society, doing 30+ hours of community service a year and the Vice President of Fundraising in the French Honors Society / French Club. I also participate in the school's Speech and Debate and STEM clubs.

I am active in my community.  This year I co-founded the Student Alumni Committee for my alma mater with the help of our District Superintendent.  The purpose of S.A.C. is to better current and future students of my Middle School in areas of academics and mental wellbeing.  While I enjoy serving at the Children's Ministry with my church, I also love being the big sister to our youth lacrosse girls can run to even more. Ultimately, I would love to attend a college where I can be an active member in class, team, and community. I love challenges and will conquer any obstacle that comes my way. That being said, I'm grateful that you've taken time to read my Personal Statement and I can't wait to see what the future has in store!

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
