I've only been playing lacrosse since the seventh grade, but once I picked up that stick I knew that this was my sport. I fell in love with the game! For the last 3 years, I've played for the Atlanta Storm 2023 Elite travel team. This past high school season as a sophomore, I played on the varsity Lassiter team. Among my many positive characteristics, I have always been a good leader, hard worker, and communicator on and off the field. I feel that I'm a very coachable player who is always willing to accept feedback to better my game. I would describe myself as a very versatile player. I also have great defensive recovery and lateral movement, where my speed helps me with that. My current mile time is 6:40 and I am hoping to bring that down even more this year. I've always had a defensive mindset, starting in basketball, which translated well to lacrosse. I started as a defensive midfield, but switched this year to pure defense and draw specialist. I am a dual sport athlete with both cross country and lacrosse. I qualified to run in the state championships last cross country season during my first year of running. I also continue to work on my game in the off season with the help of a trainer. I have a 4.35 GPA coming out of sophomore year, as well as being enrolled in the STEM biomedical program at Lassiter. During my junior year I am going to continue this rigorous program because of my desire to be a NICU doctor after college. Overall, I am interested in finding colleges where I can continue the dream of playing lacrosse at a high level, while also balancing and prioritizing academics.
