Catherine "Kiki" Ehrich '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello!

My name is Kiki Ehrich and I have played lacrosse since the 4th grade, though I got my first stick from my dad, who was raised playing in Syracuse, when I was old enough to walk. I fell in love with the game in grade school and I remain passionate about learning and growing as a player every year. I will be entering my junior year this fall and am so excited to finally be able to officially explore colleges and playing lacrosse at the next level.

I played on multiple teams throughout the three years of high school and now my high school team as a starting varsity player for 4 years, Midwestern Force for 2 summers, and Kansas City Blue Lions, FCA and Fountain City Lacrosse clubs in various year round events. I love to travel with my teammates and have made life long friendships through this sport. I am taking a break from travel lax this year to focus on keeping my 3.9 gpa and other school activities.

Outside of playing lacrosse, I like to spend my free time playing with my 2 dogs, going running or to the gym, hanging out with my friends, shopping, driving around listening to music, going to concerts, watching movies with my family and eating at lots of fun restaurants in Kansas City.  I work retail and I nanny for a family with twins. I also volunteer in the community through my high school student volunteering program and served as a tour guide/host for the admissions office at school.

I take my school work very seriously and I have been on the high 4.0 honor roll for 3 years. I recently was invited to join the National Honor Society at my school and I plan to continue taking honors and AP courses senior year. I recently competed in the state DECA marketing competition placing 4th in the state. 

I am a very dedicated player and student- I work my hardest every time I play and always have a good attitude on and off the field. My coaches would say I am extremely fast, agile, ferocious, coachable, devoted, friendly, fair, sportsmanlike and energetic. I love the game and am looking for a college experience that will give me the opportunity to play as well as learn in a strong academic setting. My career interests are in business/marketing and communications.
