Personal Statement
Ever since I was really young I've always wanted to play sports in college. I always watched sports on tv and wanted to be like them. If dreamed of playing basketball in college for years. Basketball is my favorite sport and I'd do anything to play the game. I've played on a and aau travel team ever since rec league. In off season I play pick up basketball at the ref with previous college players or with high school boys. I've worked with trainers too up my game as well. I think I'd be a good college player because I'm a really hard worker athleticly and academically. Even though school is tough for me I do everything I can to try and understand the criteria. Another reason why I think I'd be a good candidate for the team is because I'm a really good teammate. I try and care for everyone on the team and cheer for them. I try too give them the best feed back I can and help them if there's any problems. I started playing lacrosse my freshman year of high school. In the previous years I played softball. My switch from softball to lacrosse was honestly the best decision. I started playing defense my freshman year and moved up too midfield my junior year. I've always been ambidextrous so cradling, passing, catching, and shooting with both hands was very easy too catch on too.
