Delia Nichol '23 Recruiting Profile

Lacrosse is one of my favourite things in my life right now. It truly brings happiness and purpose to my when playing, but it wasn’t always like that. When I️ first started playing club and getting serious in lacrosse, I️ didn’t have the skills the other kids played. I️ was in seventh grade. Certainly I️ could catch, but I️ could not use my weak hand, would get nervous defending girls better than me, and many other factors that led me to believe it did not have to be like this. I️ could change everything just by working at it, and this is what I️ did for the rest of that season. Skill does not come naturally, it comes from who works the hardest and is ready to push themselves to their full potential. That is what has created me to become the player I️ am now, and will keep pushing me each and everyday of my life through my college journey.
