I personally want to grow in my skill level as a player, but also be a part of the team. I make it a point to be approachable and get to know my teammates in order to be able to develop the bond needed for trust, constructive criticism, and outstanding teamwork. I have a huge heart for lacrosse and it is my dream to play in college. My heart allows me to strive to be the best captain for my team that I can be.
One goal I do have for collegiate level lacrosse is to be a more universal player in being more comfortable when playing offense and setting up. Because I am our defensive captain, I do not get to practice offensive drills nearly as often as I'd like to. This inhibits the amount of time I can spend on offense, but I do still attempt to get at least some practice in.
As for academics, I value my education and partake in several challenging Advanced Placement courses. I keep my grades up by working hard and doing my best.
