I was born to play lacrosse. I picked up my stick at age three and never looked back. I have been part of a lacrosse team since I was 9 years old, and I know that playing a college sport is a big commitment that can turn my life into something more.
On the field, I work hard to be aware of everything. I see the entire field as a whole. I can look out and see who’s open, the net, the people I work with, and my opponents that I will work around. I worked hard to develop my non dominant hand and now I play to be unpredictable and versatile by using both hands. I am committed to improving in every way possible and being a great teammate no matter the circumstance.
I am also competitive in the classroom. I strive to maintain excellent grades, and I listen to and interact with my teachers by asking questions. Participating in the classroom is very important to me.
As I look towards college, I see opportunities for improvement both on and off the field. I know that the opportunity to compete in college lacrosse and get a great education is not something that everyone gets. I am committed to finding a school that is a great fit for my academics and my athletic ability. I want to be known as a very coachable student-athlete and a great teammate. I plan to compete in the classroom with the same fire that I compete with on the lacrosse field. I know that juggling academics and playing a sport in college is difficult, and I am excited and committed to these opportunities to most importantly grow into an even better person.
