Winning my first lacrosse game as a kindergartner was the thing that lit the flame in me. I scored my first few goals, and I eventually sought out the passion to play this sport. My dad coached me from years 3-10. During those years, I learned that it's not always about winning, but learning. My dad was plenty hard on my team and I, however it made us bigger, better and stronger players in the process. In my opinion, I've been successful athletically, but that never stopped me from continuing to push myself. Academically I struggled through years 11-13, there were numerous obstacles I had to face within myself, one which is not knowing who I was, it was clear I was still trying to find her. But during my freshman year I knew that in order to make it to my dream college I needed to be outstanding with my grades and extracurricular activities, and so that's what I did. I plan on continuing to be as successful as possible in school along with sports. I'm unsure of any unique characteristics I have, however I do adore reading, writing, and drawing. I believe that as I continue to work I will become the athlete that will have the talent to compete for a college team, I also believe that as I not only learn how to be successful in life but to be successful as a leader and I believe I will learn what it takes to be a leader on any team that I will be fortunate to play for.
