Taylor Catlett '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Taylor Catlett, and I’m currently a junior in high school. I’ve been playing lacrosse for three years, and this upcoming season will be my fourth. Over the years, I’ve earned multiple awards, including First Team and Second Team honors from my league.

For college, I’m focusing on schools in the South, particularly in North and South Carolina. I grew up in Tennessee, so I’m familiar with the culture and lifestyle of the South, which is why I’m excited about continuing my lacrosse career in that region.

My long-term goal is to become an orthodontist and either own or co-own a dental practice. I’m very driven both on and off the field. In lacrosse, I’m extremely dedicated—I work hard during practice, take feedback from my coaches and teammates, and always strive to improve my skills. I take my training seriously and am committed to getting better each season.

What sets me apart from other recruits is my consistency and proactive approach to the recruiting process. I stay active on the NCSA platform and regularly communicate with my coaches. I’m willing to attend camps depending on location and have already shown my commitment by making sure I’m prepared both academically and athletically. Additionally, I’m a multisport athlete, which has given me a solid understanding of teamwork and the logistics of balancing different sports.

In terms of academics, I maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.6 and have a quarter GPA of 3.8, which consistently places me on the honor roll. My strong academic performance demonstrates my dedication and ability to balance my responsibilities.

Lacrosse is a huge passion of mine, and I’m eager to continue playing at the college level. I’m excited for the opportunity to pursue this sport at a high level and contribute to a team that values hard work and determination.
