My name is Audrey Miner. I am in the Class of 2026 at Georgetown Visitation. I discovered rowing mid-way through my freshman year and worked my way up from the freshmen boat to a starting spot on the varsity boat. I eagerly wake up early to give it my all in every practice. I love working with my teammates and coaches to get better on my Visitation team and TBC club team.
I love everything about rowing and being on the water. Through rowing, I feel surrounded by a positive and supportive energy for which I am grateful. Rowing challenges and pushes me to be my best. I have grown so much from the sport and learned to effectively communicate and connect with others through it. I learned from rowing to never give up. I definitely carry this mindset over to how I approach my academics and personal goals.
My passion for rowing drives me to push myself and improve in the gym, on the erg, and in the boat. I will take every opportunity to learn, grow, and excel as a student and a rower. My goal for this upcoming year is to get my 2k down. Thank you for taking the time to learn about me.
