Rowing has made me grow into a more resilient and disciplined individual. I am an intense achiever, and I have set a standard for myself. I represent steadfastness - motivating my team to perform at a high level contributes to the unity of us as a team and a family. Time management is definitely key in my academic success at MAST Academy.
I seek to find opportunities that will allow me to continue my passion for this beloved sport, while experiencing next level competition. I wish to be apart of a team, similar to my own. One in which is like a family, that teamwork and exciting motivation craft a close bond. Being the only open weight rower on my team has taught me that even though your initial opportunities seem restricted, dedication and perseverance will present new ones. I live by my father’s motto, that if you are going to do something you do it with pride and full effort. I believe my sheer competitiveness and drive to achieve the goals I dare to set have made me the athlete and seventeen year old that I am today. Which is something I will carry on for the rest of my rowing career.
