Personal Statement
Rowing is definitely a passion for me and I am excited about the opportunity to compete at the college level. I know I can compete at the highest level in college because I have the drive and determination to do whatever it takes to achieve my goals. The scores you see today are going to be improved upon immensely. I have been training at the high school and on my own 7 days a week to make this happen. I take the same approach to my academics and plan to improve upon my 3.7GPA. My ultimate goal is to go to medical school and become a Surgeon.
Why am I different? Coming from a family with 5 children I have learned so many valuable life lessons. I am independent but I love working as a team, I understand the dynamics and importance that teamwork has in rowing and I will always give 100% to my team and my academics
