I have been a part of Whitemarsh Boat Club since the summer of 2021, and have been on their Junior Race Team for a little over three years. I started out as a rower and continued that through my freshman and sophomore years of high school. In the spring of 2022, I went to Youth Nationals in the U17 8+. Over the summer and beginning of fall 2023, I realized that my contributions to the team would be most constructive as a coxswain, though I thoroughly enjoyed rowing. With my rowing experience spanning 5 competitive seasons, I have been able to quickly understand and fulfill my role as a coxswain and have made tremendous strides in this position over the fall 2023 season. While I was in primarily novice boats this past fall, I am always eager to take advantage of opportunities to better myself as a coxswain and deepen my understanding of the sport. I feel that my attitude on and off the water is what allows me to grow and learn as a coxswain, and several of my coaches can attest. Currently, I am a part of the Wissahickon High School class of 2025, where I am managing 4 AP courses, am a member of the National Honors Society, and am an officer of my school's newspaper.
