Personal Statement

I am very passionate about rowing and I am hopeful to continue on a collegiate rowing team. I am currently a rower, I sweep both sides, scull, stroke, bow, and am familiar with all rowing positions. My overall goal is to be on a collegiate rowing team. I am smaller in stature (5' 4") but I am tough and I am flexible to be in any position including coxing. My personality is very outgoing, I am very bubbly and high energy. I am definitely an extrovert and have a leadership mentality. I hold myself to high standards. I am always up for a challenge and love taking charge to get things done. I strive to be successful and lead by example. I am very interested in taking my knowledge in rowing and transitioning to coxing for a collegiate team and would love to talk about what that might look like!

I hope to pursue a degree in chemistry or nursing!
