Personal Statement
My whole life I've always loved sports, from swimming to fencing I tried everything, but nothing ever stuck. I began rowing in fall of 2020 with my middle school team and finished out eighth grade there. In summer of 2021 I moved up to my novice team as I entered my freshman year of high school. Now I am competing with the u17 team for a more competitive environment. This sport has given me so much and allowed me to learn what it means to be dedicated. I am eternally grateful for every day I get to spend with my teammates and practice alongside them as we train. It is my dream to row throughout college and compete for as long as I can.
