Katherine Adams '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a highly driven individual both on and off the water. I started a nonprofit, Paper for Water, when I was 5 and since then I have been able to raise over 3.5 million dollars and fund over 350 water in 20 countries. I am a confident leader with a lot of experience in that area through Paper for Water. However, my belief around leadership is that true leaders create more leaders rather than more followers. If needed I will rise to the occasion in a heartbeat, but I usually lead from behind and let the spotlight shine on others. I have always played sports, both team and individual, and thrive in competition. A positive, competitive team culture is also essential to me because we can accomplish so much more together and united. I am interested in the pre-med track and would love to be able to train and compete at the same time.
