Aleksandra Kolobovnikov '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Aleksandra, but I go by Sasha (Russian nickname). I am currently a junior at HeLa high school. I have been involved with club sports since kindergarten, the first being competitive gymnastics. 

After competing for 7 years and successfully completing USAG Level 8, I switched to competitive dance and ballet. During summer of 2022, I added rowing and have been coxswaining ever since. 

I primarily coxswain 4x+’s and 4+’s, the most recent being a varsity men's 4+ that I will be coxing in the upcoming spring season. After graduating high school, I would love to be a part of a competitive collegiate rowing program. As a coxswain, I pay close attention to detail and focus on the technical aspects of my boat. I thrive on the challenge of competition and truly enjoy the camaraderie of the rowing community. Working with my teammates to achieve a common goal is something very important to me.
