Fabi Zumwalt '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I am Fabie Zumwalt, 

Class of 2025 & a member of Alberta Soccer High Performance Program. Alberta Soccer selected the top players & is providing training, development & competitive opportunities for team of top players. Our HPP team will take part in League 0ne Alberta, the top women's league in the province, competing against current College & University Athletes. 

Naturally left-footed, I excel as an attacking left back and winger on the left side of the field. I take pride in my ability to drive the ball & provide an excellent cross and track back & defend effectively. My goal is to continue playing soccer at a high level in college and contribute to building a team that achieves great things. I am also a multi-sport athlete, having competed in downhill ski racing and winning numerous races. Additionally, I am a sprinter in track, specialising in the 100m and 200m events, and I actively participate in basketball and volleyball on my school teams.

I moved to Canada after the devastating Haitian earthquake in 2010, finding a new home in Calgary as a toddler. I have faced numerous challenges throughout my life, but they have only made me stronger. I am truly grateful for the second chance I have been given with my adoptive family in Canada. Furthermore, I believe that God has blessed me with the gift of a left foot and the ability to run like the wind. I am determined to make the most of these gifts.

Gratitude, positivity, hard work, vocal leadership, and motivation are qualities that I strive to embody at all times. Soccer provides me with an opportunity to play for something greater than myself. Over the years, I play for the top ranked club team in my province & have developed a deep love for the game, not only for its fun and competitive aspects, but also to inspire young girls all over the world, particularly those in Haiti who do not have the opportunity to play this beautiful game.
