I’m supposed to tell you about myself, which is a very hard thing for me to do. Most people would describe me as being quiet, however, once I get to know you, you will learn that I have a very lively personality. My parents taught me to be an independent thinker, but also to appreciate being on a team in my opinion being a part of a team is like having another family. Soccer has helped me in so many ways throughout my life, and it has helped me develop into the young woman I am today. My freshman year of high school I was fortunate enough to be one of four freshmen to be selected to play on the Lady Patriot soccer team. We are a young team with a new coach and we are looking forward to learning new skills and having a winning season.
To be a good soccer player it’s not about how fast you can run or how many goals you have made, it’s about how you got to be the best player you can be. Everything you do to reach your goals, knowing how to be a part of a team and be the ultimate teammate. Pushing not only yourself to succeed, but encouraging your teammates, and lastly giving a hundred and one percent, on and off the field. I know that I am not the best player but I will work on anything and everything you teach me. I look forward to playing soccer for many years to come and would love to continue to hone my skills by playing on your team.
