I strive for competition and challenge when it comes to both my academics and athletics. In both areas, I always want to do better and constantly improve in whatever way by participating in pre-AP classes and looking to guest play for higher level girls teams in my club. I'm looking to play at a competitive level at a college with high academic standards that will challenge me. Some of my best soccer skills include my speed, agilty, capability of reading the game well, and my finishing with my right or left foot. When it comes to my personality on the field, I am a fiercly competitive person once I'm playing. I'm all about playing the game as best as I can and letting my play speak for itself. I consider myself a play maker regardless if I'm dribbling or finding a pass to get a teammate to the goal. When I play, I find a balance between playing for myself and playing for my team.
I've lived about 10 out of 14 years playing soccer and never missing the next season. I've played 3 years up in age at 11 years old until I was accepted to play at the APL level. On every team I've played on, I can say that I've given a name to myself through my skill and hardwork. I plan to work harder as I mature as an athlete, scholar, and person. I'm different from other recruits because of my overall connection to the game. I thrive on competition, whether its among my teammates or opponents to remind myself that there's always going to be a great player until I decide to be better. My character is introverted until I put myself out there and feel comfortable. A good team bond is important to me as well because it reflects on the field and will provide a great group of friends throughout college. Additionally, I'm excellent academically as I was a member of the National Junior Honors Society in middle school. Although playing high level soccer is imprtant to me, my academics are much more important for my future. As of now, I don't have any specific colleges I'm intersted in because of the time I'd like to take to look at colleges and their programs in depth.
