Sophia Carbone '25 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing soccer since I was four years old and D1 competitive soccer since 2014.  I have loved the game as far back as I can remember, and despite me playing a couple of seasons of Futsal, Track & Field, and Basketball, my one true passion remains soccer. Ever since I was a little kid, I was very competitive, I would always compete with my two older brothers at anything. My dream is to play D1 college soccer at the highest level after graduation from high school. I believe I possess both the tangible technical skills and athleticism as well as intangible attributes such as determination, work ethic, and tactical vision to compete at a very high level.  I pride myself on being a team player, to this point, as a forward I have sometimes been criticized by coaches as not being selfish enough with my shot selection.  I am looking for my next challenge on the soccer field and in the classroom, somewhere with an inclusive culture and where I can add value.
