Personal Statement

My college goals and aspirations for soccer are to go to a 4 year university, possibly go into nursing. I am a strong athletic candidate because I have a good vision of the field. I know where the ball should go and can make a good play to get it there. I am also confident in my ability to play, and I can be very assertive. My character on and off the field is helpful, kind to my teammates, but aggressive on the field. I have also held a captain’s position on one of my teams. As captain, I led the team through warm-ups, got everyone ready for the game, and got them excited for the game. The coach chose me because I was center mid field and could see the whole field. My academics last year were very good. Last year I had a 3.5 gpa and I took challenging classes including Honors Biology and Honors English. On the field I can be aggressive, assertive, and I am experienced because I have been playing for about 10 years.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
