Personal Statement
I am the perfect candidate for your school because I have a 4.0 GPA and strive to be the best in everything I do. I am on the boys varsity wrestling team for Granite Hills High School. I won CIF in the 116 pound division in 2018. I am very proud to be the first female wrestler to ever win CIF for my high school. I also went 2-2 at the 2018 Girls State Wrestling Championship as a freshman. In 2019 I placed 4th at CIF in the 111 pound division. My overall record this season was 24-3. I had the opportunity to wrestle in Mexico’s National JR Olympics in 2019. I am dedicated and relentless when it comes to athletics and education. I was honored to receive the 2018 Breitbard All-CIF Award for Athletic Achievement. This is the highest athletic achievement award you can receive in San Diego. Education always comes first and I've always had good grades. Currently, I am enrolled in a medical pathway. I am passionate about the medical field and strive to be a PA or RN in the future. As for sports, I want to continue to excel in wrestling and be an All-American Champion. If my dream of wrestling in college comes true, I will be the first person in my family to go to college. I want to be an example for my little brother and other female athletes like me. I have a great support system from my parents, my coaches and teachers. Failure is not an option. I am determined to succeed one way or another.
