Liliana Rubio '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is Liliana Rubio. My teammates call me "Lily" and my coaches call me "Rubio". I play for LaMorinda United, "LaMo", U15 and U16 teams. My primary positions are outside forward, center mid and more recently outside defender. On LaMo, the coaching staff uses me more on the outside offensive attack. 

I have also been selected to play with the U15 Mexican National Team where I play outside back and winger. Currently, I am participating in the National team "Call Ups" and I am expected to have international play at the end of this year, 2023. I have been selected to the USYNT Regional Camp in Chula Vista, CA. The coaches there selected me as an outside winger/center forward, but later tried me out as an outside back. I am aggressive and offensive minded on the ball. Some of my best traits are my technical abilities in tight spaces and moving defenders in order to create new channels to transition into. I am normally the fastest player on my team and often times on the field as well. 

Outside of Club and Youth National teams, I have been selected to attend the ID2 National Camp in Sacramento and the GA National Talent ID Camp in Missouri last year. Coaches put me in various positions both offense and defense. 

When I am not playing soccer, I am running track or singing in my school choir. I have a younger brother who also plays soccer and runs. If I am not at one of these events, you can find me at the mall with friends.
