Mia Valdez '25 Recruiting Profile

To begin, my ultimate goal is to be a successful student athlete at the college level. I desire to achieve this goal that I have created throughout my 11 years of playing soccer. Every achievement must be earned and I believe that my work ethic, determination, commitment, and overall passion to play would help me exceed my expectations, as well as anybody who gives me the opportunity to play.  I have balanced my academics and athletics evenly and have made it a priority to manage my time wisely in order to excel in both areas. I strongly believe that improvement comes from not just yourself but your teammates who encourage and push you to become a better player. As a teammate, I encourage and strengthen my team through our victories and defeats. It’s crucial to know that I yearn to be given instructional criticism that can make me work even harder, which results in growth as a teammate and soccer player. I am determined to meet any goal someone or I set for myself because I never quit and I know that any given task is possible. I am passionate and will give my entire heart out on and off the field.
