Emily Ahlgren '23 Recruiting Profile

As a first-generation athlete in my family, this long journey has been an enormous family effort since I will be attending college in the traditional way. I have wanted to play college soccer since I was young and with the support of my family, I believe I can. I am a player who has been a part of successful teams, I will always be a team player and I help out those around me.  

Academics are the most important part of my life. While soccer is my passion, school is my number one priority. I am always focused on my grades, and I take pride in the work I put into school and the success I receive from it. I aspire to attend a top university and work every day at my crafts, perfecting them for the betterment of my life and future. 

I believe I have the skills and maturity for collegiate-level soccer, and I am ready for any challenge that I will face along the way. Soccer has been a significant piece of my life and I hope to use the practice and understanding of the game to bring me to the next stage of my soccer career.
