Raquel Dos Santos '21 Recruiting Profile

Ever since I began playing soccer at the age of 4, I have always had a genuine passion for the beautiful game. I consider myself to be dedicated and hard working as I constantly strive to be the best person and player I can possibly be. I aspire to continue my soccer career at a competitive collegiate women's soccer program and compete for titles. I hope to be able to aid the team on and off the field in any way I can. 

I am currently on the San Diego Surf 03 DA team and play as a center midfielder, as well as a winger. I enjoy playing in the midfield as it allows me to be actively involved in the game and display creativity through movement, dribbling, passing, and vision. I would say some of my greatest strengths are my tactical intelligence on and off the ball, my stamina, and my ball control.

After completing my sophomore year at Canyon Crest Academy, I hold a 4.16 Total GPA. In college, I would like to major in biology as I have always had a strong interest in this field. Regarding some of my extracurricular activities, I am a co-founder and tutor for Rise Up Tutoring, I have played piano for 7 years, I am a RISE Student Leader (Church Youth Ministry), and I participate in Natural Medicine Club and Key Club.
