Samantha Solorzano '25 Recruiting Profile

Hi, I'm Samantha Solorzano and part of the class of 2025, attending Abraham Lincoln High School. I have been playing soccer for almost 12 years now and have fallen in love with the game. I'm currently playing for De Anza Force ECNL and also play on my school's varsity team since Freshman year. As a defender, both outside and center as well as an attacking and defending midfielder, I've learned how to anticipate where the ball is going and have a great understanding of the game. I have quick feet and great passing skills. Along with that I am a team leader as a co-captain on both my Club and High School teams and bring positivity to the field. My personality allows me to be very coachable and I am able to listen to criticism to make me a stronger athlete. In the classroom, I study very hard to maintain my 4.0 (4.30 weighted) GPA. Ultimately, I want to attend a college where I can challenge myself both on the field and in the classroom. I am open to all options that will fit best for me both academically and athletically.
