Alexis Gamboa '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Alexis Gamboa and I play for San Diego Surf ECNL RL G08.  I would say that 3 strengths I have are my high soccer IQ, my vision, and I’m a leader on the field. I’m passionate about playing and my drive to win, knowledge, and technical abilities will help any college I decide to play for.  Even though I know a lot about the game I also know I have a lot to learn and am eager to learn from more experienced players and coaches. I want to play at a high level in college either D1, high level D2, or a high level NAIA school.  On the pitch I am highly competitive and winning is the fun reward.

I am very driven, determined, and passionate.  My friends, family, and dogs are very important to me!  Finding a university that fosters a positive and challenging environment both academically and athletically is extremely important to me.  I want to major in psychology or sports psychology.  I am very passionate about the environment and helping others.  I want to play soccer at a college with a clean campus where they value the environment just as much as me.
