Bella Morales '22 Recruiting Profile

Growing up, I have always had a passion for soccer, whether it was playing with friends and family or competing on the field for more than an hour.  I have been playing soccer since I was six years old, and learned what it means to be a leader and a team player. I will always do my best to assist the team physically and emotionally. Every team I have previously played with has helped me grow as an athlete. I know there is still room for improvement, so I will continue to work hard.

Defending has been my specialty ever since I began playing soccer; the thrill of playing keeps the fear away. Even when I am under pressure, I learned to focus on what's important during those situations. Anything I put my mind to, I work my hardest to achieve and surpass expectations.

It takes dedication and commitment to be an athlete and a scholar at the same time, which is what I focus on continuously. Both academics and sports have motivated me to succeed: it has also taught me that hard work pays off and that the outcome is worth it.
