Hi, my name is Brigit Fitzgerald and I am a 2024 soccer player attending Buena High School. I currently play for LAFC SoCal girls '06 ECRL as a center defender. As a freshman, I was a starter on my high school varsity team. My high school primary position during the season was center midfield, however I was moved to center defender for regionals. This past sophomore season, I played as a central defender. I have been playing soccer for 12 years and it is a big passion of mine. I am a very coachable player and have played every position on the field, but mainly central midfielder or central defender, since I can read the game, and communicate well with my teammates. Academics are very important to me. My first semester of my Junior year I was in the top 8% of my class with an overall weighted GPA of 4.26. I am looking for a school which will challenge me athletically as well as academically.
