Charlotte Brown '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Charlotte Brown. My dream is to play college soccer and I am determined to reach that goal. I have been playing soccer since I was three years old, and I truly love the sport. When I am out on the field I forget about everything else and nothing can ever beat the feeling of scoring or when my teammates and I start connecting on another level. I was recruited during my freshman year to play at the ID2 Texas camp hosted by US Club Soccer, and for the past two years, I have been voted as Varsity Captain for my high school team. I now play on the number one team in Connecticut, CFC United ECNL Girls U17. After practicing with the team, I was also told I had great vision, great first touch, and composure in front of the goal. I am also strong, tall, aggressive, technical, and fast as well as dedicated, and passionate about soccer in every way. I am deeply connected with my high school, and it is basically my second home. I participate in countless clubs, hold multiple leadership positions, and have a GPA of 3.5 which I look forward to improving as the year progresses. I love animals and hope to major in Environmental Science/Studies or Marine Biology, but I am open to trying something completely different. I have two sisters, my older sister Grace who just graduated from Westover and is off to the University of Rochester, and my little sister Olivia is a freshman this year, who I finally get to share the pitch with which I have been looking forward to.
