Jessica Greene '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi Coach;

My name is Jessica Greene. I'm a hardworking dedicated student athlete very interested in playing softball at the collegiate level.  I really love softball!  It's quick and strategic. It requires lots of teamwork.  I've met great players and coaches, and I love the travel and the wonderful opportunities it can provide.

Like in the Fall of 2018 when I moved from my home in Canada to go to Kent School in Connecticut.  I was so excited to be recruited by Coach Zurolo to play shortstop for such an excellent school, and very proud to receive my academic acceptance.  I am repeating my sophomore year of high school so my grad year is now 2021, but I'm loving it and I really appreciate being able to take advantage of such an amazing educational opportunity and pursue my softball dreams. 

I really like shortstop and have spent the majority of my playing time there, but I can play both infield and outfield and have recently started playing more third base.  I have good athleticism and softball intelligence and I've always worked extremely hard on my offense.  Batting from the left side, I've been really focusing on making sure I can bunt, slap and hit for power effectively.
