Personal Statement
I started playing soccer when I was three years-old. I started in the in-house program and soon graduated to the travel program. I was asked to join a premiere program at age nine. When I turned eleven, I entered a competitive pre- ECNL program and today I still compete at the ECNL level. I competed as a player on the CT ODP team and represented CT at the regional tournament level. My athletic interests prior to high school also included both competitive softball and basketball, but I always knew that my true passion was to continue to play soccer at the collegiate level.
I am a flexible player with great versatility offensively as well as defensively. I train year round with FSA ECNL and am committed to my teammates, my coach, and to my growth on and off the field.
I am enrolled in all honors classes and achieve mostly A's. I am a part of both the Spanish National Honor Society and the National Honor Society. I am the varsity captain for the 2018 season at Lauralton Hall. When I am not on the soccer field I can be found volunteering in the Redding Chapter of the National Charity League and Saint Patricks Youth Group or playing in the wind ensemble of the Western Connecticut Youth Orchestra.
I am well rounded and know that in order for good things to happen, one must make them happen. I am open to new challenges and I look forward to an adventurous future!
