Personal Statement
I am a senior NEPSSA & Boston Globe All Star varsity goalkeeper with 5 years of varsity experience. I am a true team player and listen and execute as expected. I am not actually one that likes to self promote but apparently I need to be better at that to get college coaches attention.
My coaches tell me I should be talking with D1/ D2 schools based upon my skill level. I definelty think it would be good for you to evaluate my skills and recommend you also contact my high school coach - Esad Darman at 508-410-6944 for his thoughts on my playing ability.
I started as the goalie for Oxford High School varsity team as a 8th grader while attending Oxford Middle School in 2014 (I never did attend Oxford High School).
I was then approached by the Spirit of Liverpool club soccer coach who I then played for as a starter for two years. In both years, we qualified to play in the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions (MTOC) championship game and both times went to the Region 1 playoffs in West Virinia to represent Massachusetts. I then changed to the Napoli soccer club (at the direction of my high school coach) and again reached the MTOC championship game.
I was a walk on at Marianapolis as a freshman in 2015 and earned a varsity spot on the team with playing time vs a scholarship upperclassmen goalie. The team won the SENE championship.
In 2016 I split time as goalie and the team went on to win the SENE championship and took 2nd place in the NEPSAC conference.
In 2017 I earned the full starting role and had an incredible season as the team moved up divisions and saw more competitive play.
So far in 2018 I am having a great season with an average of 18 saves per game and 5 complete shut out games.
