Personal Statement

Hi, I'm Jodalis Alicea, I'm a 17-year-old outside defense on a varsity soccer team. I’m Puerto Rican, I speak fluent Spanish and I’m currently learning French, I've always wanted to play soccer since I was in elementary school but I never got the opportunity to until my sophomore year of high school. That year I made it on a varsity team and got to play with some amazing teammates and a supporting coach and they were the reason I realized I loved playing soccer. Soccer has made me truly realize what dedication and time you put into something can do. Not only that but I want to be a photographer and a wildlife rehabilitator, it's one of my biggest goals and I'm looking for a school that can help me pursue both. Before I graduate, I plan on maintain my GPA and take more hon.and AP classes to increase my chances of getting into college.

My sophomore I got high academic achievement in visions/pursuits hon, world history, and biology plus a teachers award from my world history and vision pursuits honors teacher. I am certified as an internet web professional. I was selected for a Congress of future Medical leaders award of excellence. I have a certificate and medal award in Art from the Annual young at Art Exhibition. I earned a varsity leader award my sophomore year in soccer. I earned a districts superior medial for auxiliary my sophomore year in winter guard and a Band Director’s award that same year.
