Personal Statement
My name is Emily Stewart, I've been playing soccer since I was 5 years old. I started out playing for my local YMCA, but when I wanted to become a little more serious and competitive, I decided to join CFC. I started playing at CFC when I was about 9 years old. I've had a passion for the game ever since I started playing. All year long, I look forward to my club season officially starting. I look forward to every game and most of all, playing with my teammates. Soccer has become a huge part of my life, it's my first priority. Through extra-curricular activities, I've gained leadership skills that I have been able to use out on the field. I never try to outshine my fellow teammates, I just focus on the plays being made and help motivate my teammates. I've managed to keep good grades all throughout school. I make all A's and occasionally 1 B, making my GPA around 3.8-3.9. I would love to go on to college playing soccer, I even hope to make it professionally. Playing soccer in college would mean the world to me, it may sound cheesy, but it's the whole truth. There's not one word to describe the passion, love, and commitment I have for the game.
