Sophia Torchia '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Sophia Torchia. I have been playing soccer since I was 4 years old and started playing for travel clubs at 8 years old. My club team is part of the GA (Girls Academy League). I would describe myself as a player who is passionate, coachable, and focused. I am constantly improving my game and love how my teammates and I push each other to be better. On the pitch, I am a quick thinker and will use either foot comfortably. I am also a consistent player, which I believe my coaches have come to rely on. Moreover, I always give it 110%. 

In school, I am a well-rounded student. My teachers would describe me as hard-working and someone who works well with others. I have good grades and always find a way to balance academics, school clubs, and soccer.   I know that I would excel in college, on and off the field, as I am already balancing a rigorous training and study schedule.

I have always dreamed of playing for my college and taking them to championships. I look forward to my journey to get there with you!
