I am Bryce Storey. I am from Tallahassee, Florida, and I will be graduating high school in 2025. I have been playing soccer all my life, and soccer has helped me develop into the person I am today. Growing up I was a shy kid and I had trouble making friends, but soccer opened me up and helped me meet people I never would have met without it. I always looked forward to playing, competing, and getting better. I did that by always playing with older kids and playing with the boys whenever I could. I just couldn’t get enough of soccer. Soccer also helped improve my communication and helped me become a leader on and off the field. That’s what makes me love soccer so much, not only have I become a better athlete, but a better person too.
Soccer has done so much for me that I want to encourage others to grow through the game, so when I’m not playing soccer, I’m coaching soccer. It allows me to help mentor young players on and off the field, and it allows me to learn more about the game myself. I hope to continue to push myself in the future by playing college soccer, and learning from those around me.
I know my soccer journey is just beginning, and I am excited that this game will always be a part of my life.
I am currently just getting back to full play following my ACL injury, and I am excited to be back on the field again with my team. I am continuing to work hard to get to full fitness following my injury.
