Megan Hyer '24 Recruiting Profile

My passion for soccer started from a very young age. I have been playing competitive since 7th grade. I am a hard-working, team-oriented, and aggressive player who is determined to perform at the highest level possible. My favorite part about soccer is the team-oriented atmosphere. I aspire to be a proactive leader who knows how to take initiative and also lead by example. My goal is to find an institution that allows me to grow as an athlete, pushes me academically and inspires me to step out of my comfort zone. In the classroom, I am a high-achieving student with a 4.32 GPA. Along with playing high school and club soccer and being on my school's swim and track teams (I participated in state championships in all three sports), I am involved in clubs and extracurricular activities. Making an impact in my community is very important to me. I am interested in a career that allows me to help others so, the student part of student-athlete is something I do not take lightly; growing academically is a priority. My goal is to attend a college at which I can grow academically as well as athletically. I am aware that my goals will take a lot of work, but I am willing to put in the effort and set myself apart on and off the field.
