Emmie Bredahl '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches! My name is Emmie Bredahl and I am from Fayetteville, Georgia. In college, I would like to major in commercial aviation, and minor in music. Soccer has always been a huge part of my life and without it, I wouldn't be where I am now. I am a goalkeeper and I play with the AFC Lightning club on the 07 DPL team, and I also have played both Junior Varsity and Varsity soccer at Starr's Mill Highschool. I have always loved being a goalkeeper, diving for balls and blocking hard shots whenever I can. While my position can be very stressful at times, as the fate of a game can sometimes lay on your shoulders, I have always risen up to the challenge and fought as hard as I can every game and at every practice. I believe that no matter what the score is, or who I'm playing with, you should always be determined and never give up. Taking the lead in dire situations is something I pride myself in and the ability to communicate to and motivate my teammates is a quality I believe every goalkeeper should have. 

Academically, I strive to do my best no matter what subject it is, even if I don't like it. I believe education plays an important role in every athlete's career, because alongside sports we all need to be able to learn whatever it is we want to do in life and have the ability to reach our goals outside of sports that require hard work in school. Overall, I'm excited to begin the recruitment process and fulfill my dreams, like pursuing music, aviation, and college soccer. In the end I'm just here to learn and have fun!
