2022 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Rylann Law and I am a starting varsity sophomore for my Glenwood High School soccer team, GHS, Chatham IL. This season we won All Conference and won IHSA 2A State Championship title. I received awards and recognition for All State, All Conference, All Academics, IL Class 2A Final Four First XI and most goals scored in a single season at GHS, 42 goals. I will be starting 2023 season with a different competitive team, SLSG ECNL Navy 07, which I'm super excited to be apart of.
My primary position, on both teams, is striker but I can also play right and left midfielder. My natural speed, aggressiveness and ability to read the game sets me apart from my opponents. I enjoy every aspect that soccer has taught me over the years. I learned early on never to give up, to keep practicing and trying harder to achieve my goals. This motivation and determination has carried over to my academics and personnel life as well.
My collegiate goals are to play soccer at the next level and to continue my education in the medical field.

- The defense delivered a shutout and the Law twins scored a goal each a minute apart to start the overtime period in the 2A state title game to bring a state championship back to Chatham. Glenwood beat Benet Academy 2-0 in overtime to claim the 2A state title on goals from Rowann Law and Rylann Law in the first overtime period. Abi Stephens got the shutout in goal for the Titans who won their second state title (2013, 2023).
