Fiona Roche '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Fiona. 

I am a rising junior at Fenwick High School in Oak Park, IL.  I play attacking midfield & forward for Eclipse North's ECNL 2006 team out of Northbrook.  I take pride in my work ethic, being a physical competitor and am highly motivated to bring those attributes to a Collegiate program. I would love to play for a college that has a strong journalism or writing program, as well as biology or environmental studies. 

Athletically, I’ve played for Eclipse since 2015 and been rostered on the ECNL team since 2018.  I have competed in five National Showcase events the last couple years. (South Carolina, Houston, Arizona, Tampa, California ). 

For my high school team, I made the varsity soccer team as a freshman.  I started half of my games and got a substantial amount of playing time.  l also  played tennis on the Freshman/Sophomore team.  

Academically, Fenwick is a very selective Catholic Preparatory School with a highly regarded academic reputation.  The curriculum’s goal is to prepare students for college and beyond. The workload challenged me to mature Intellectually, Emotionally and Spiritually.  I learned the importance of time management, extra attention to detail and strong communication.  I achieved First Honors in both semesters my first year and finished with a 3.8 GPA. In my second, year I also earned first honors and finished with a 3.8 GPA.
