Ava Millan '25 Recruiting Profile

My love for soccer started when I played in the Kinder Soccer League in Palatine, Illinois.  I then transitioned to the 2007 Palatine Celtic SC travel team and have been playing there for the past eight years.  On the pitch I strive to be the hardest worker and pride myself in my ability to read the field.  I became team captain of my club team during the 21-22 season and as team captain, I focus on teamwork and improvement.  Throughout my soccer career I have had different coaches and have adapted, understood, and appreciated their individual coaching styles.  Academically, I strive to maintain a high GPA even while taking AP and Honor courses.  Within my high school, I am involved in Student Council and Math Team.  I am also a volunteer coach for Palatine Celtic SC's Mini and Junior Celtic program and I am a certified Grass Roots soccer referee.  I want to find the right college for me that will help me be successful academically and athletically.  I strive to make all the people who have helped me proud.
