Caringtyn Sturgeon '27 Recruiting Profile

I aspire to be a successful college soccer player.  I feel I am a good fit for most teams because I am coachable, I work hard, I have a good attitude and my results follow.  

I currently play in the ECNL for Indiana Fire Academy South 09G.  We are currently ranked 2nd in our ECNL Division.  We won the Indiana Challenge Cup State Championship in 2021 and finished in 3rd place in the 2022 Indiana State Cup.  My stats with my club team in 2022 are 42 goals and 12 assists in 28 games played.  I was also named as a member of the Chicago Fire Emerging Talent Program in 2021.

I have also appeared for Indiana's State Olympic Development 09 Girls team 7 times in 2022.  I have scored 2 goals and had 2 assists in those 7 appearances.  I have recently been named to the 2023 roster for the Sub Region games in Memphis, TN February 17-20.

Lastly, I was recently identified as a 5 Star player in the All-American Series.  I was invited to the Golden Cup in Naples, FL in December of 2022 and won the Golden Ball/MVP for the Player of the Tournament.
