Sophia Hoffmann '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello!! My future goals include playing at the highest level I can and making an impact on and off the field! I am extremely passionate about the game and would love to be a soccer coach in the future.  As far as a major, I am undecided; but I am passionate about many things. I attend Dike New Hartford high school in Iowa and I am currently a Sophomore. I have a 3.9 GPA and was on honor roll all three trimesters my Freshmen year. As far as soccer,  I have played club for around 5 years. I have played for 2 clubs, and I am currently at FC United in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.  I was captain of my first club for 4 years, until switching to my new club in 2019. I was a varsity starter my whole freshmen year, and earned team MVP. 

I love the way soccer unites all different types of people, and I owe most of my friendships and life lessons to it. Without soccer, I wouldn't be the person I am today. I am excited to see what new opportunities and experiences soccer will bring me in the future!
